What Therapy Can Help With
Therapy is ideal for individuals seeking support, healing, growth, or direction during challenging seasons of life. You may already know where you are emotionally and simply need guidance on how to move forward.
Therapy may be helpful if you are:
- Coping with grief or loss
- Experiencing sadness, anxiety, mood changes, or irritability
- Feeling overwhelmed or emotionally stuck
- Struggling with relationship or marital concerns
- Feeling disconnected from your spouse or uncertain about the future of your relationship
- Navigating family conflict or communication difficulties
- Attempting to better understand and manage your child’s behavior
- Seeking healthier coping skills and emotional balance
If any of these resonate with you, therapy may be the next step in your healing journey.
What to Expect in Therapy
Therapy sessions are typically 45 to 55 minutes and may occur weekly, biweekly, or as needed, depending on your individual goals and clinical needs. Through talk therapy, clients gain insight into how thoughts, emotions, and behaviors interact and impact daily functioning.
Our therapists utilize evidence-based approaches in a supportive, nonjudgmental environment to help clients:
Develop effective coping strategies
Improve emotional regulation
Strengthen relationships
Increase self-awareness
Restore balance and overall well-being
Important Information for Child Therapy Services
For child clients, the first appointment is a Parent Intake Session. Please do not bring your child to this initial session. This appointment allows the therapist to gather important developmental, family, and background information from the parent or legal guardian. This process helps guide treatment planning and ensures the therapist is an appropriate clinical fit for your child.
Required Documentation
Any custody agreements, divorce decrees, or legal documents related to parental rights must be provided to the office prior to the child’s first therapy session.
